Is Tara a real astrologer?
No — Tara is our AI astrologer, and she says so. What makes her worth asking is that she is not making the astrology up: your chart is computed by our own engine (sidereal, Lahiri, true node), and every placement, period and transit she states is read from that computation and checked against it before it reaches you. She is patient, she is there at any hour, and she will tell you when the chart cannot answer. For an hour of judgement rather than lookup, book a live session with a human astrologer.
What does it cost, and when do I pay?
You pay Tara by the answer, from a balance in US dollars. Sign in with your email, give your birth details once, and you start with free credits worth $4; after that you top up $10, $25 or $50 (up to 20% extra balance on the bigger ones) through Stripe when you choose. Each answer is charged by the work it takes, never more than $3, and shows what it cost. Questions she cannot answer are not charged, and the balance never expires. A live session with a human astrologer is paid for separately — $99 for 60 minutes, charged when you confirm the slot, refundable up to 24 hours before. There is no subscription and nothing else is sold to you in the chat.
Do I need my exact birth time?
Exact to the minute is ideal, and it is usually on your birth certificate or hospital record. If you only know it roughly, say so when you give your details — the chat will tell you which readings that makes less certain, and some astrologers on the platform work with birth-time rectification and will spend part of a live session narrowing it down using events you already know about.
Will someone tell me something frightening?
No. Neither the chat nor an astrologer here will predict death, terminal illness or disaster, or describe a period as a curse — the chat is held to that by guardrails on every message. Difficult phases are named plainly and explained: what tends to get strained, how long it runs, what is in your control. Nothing here is designed to make you buy your way out of it.
Do you sell gemstones, yantras or pujas?
We sell Tara's answers and live sessions, and nothing else. Astrologers are paid per reading and receive no commission of any kind, and Tara earns nothing from any practice she mentions. If a traditional practice is relevant to your chart, it will be explained — including what it is meant to do and whether it is worth your time — and you are free to ignore it.
Which languages can I ask in?
Tara's own voice is English — write to her in another language and she will follow, but English is where she is surest. Live sessions are in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati and Bengali, depending on the astrologer — you choose your language when you ask for a session, and we only match you with an astrologer who reads fluently in it.
What happens to my birth details?
Your birth data is used to compute your chart and nothing else. It stays in our own database, is visible to the astrologer you book with, and is never sold or used for advertising. Chats are stored so you can pick a conversation back up; you can ask us to delete everything at any time.
